Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube is a premium marine gear oil developed by Mercury Marine for maximum protection of outboard and sterndrive gearcases. Suitable for Mercury outboards, MerCruiser sterndrives and other marine gearcases where Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube is specified, this advanced lubricant helps protect gears, bearings and internal components against wear, extreme pressure and water contamination.

Replacing OEM numbers 92-858064QB1 and 92-858064Q01, this high-performance gearcase oil is formulated to maintain a durable lubricating film under extreme loads and high operating temperatures. Enhanced emulsifiers help protect internal components if water enters the gearcase, while Extreme Pressure (EP) additives provide superior protection for gears and bearings.

Applications

Suitable for use in Mercury outboards, MerCruiser sterndrives and marine gearcases where Quicksilver High Performance Gear Lube is recommended.

Do not mix with Quicksilver Premium Gear Lube or other gear oils. Not recommended for OMC electric-shift gearcases.

Service Recommendations

For optimal protection, change gear lube at least once per year, preferably before winter storage, or every 100 operating hours under normal operating conditions. For saltwater applications, more frequent service intervals may be required.
